ABYAT Gift Card – Terms & Conditions

Validity and Usage

1. Validity Period: The gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any remaining balance after expiry will be automatically canceled, and the customer is not entitled to claim it.
2. Geographical Scope: The card is used exclusively at ABYAT showrooms and the website/application of the issuing country only (cards issued in Kuwait are valid in Kuwait, and those issued in Saudi Arabia are valid in KSA).
3. Partial and Multiple Use: The balance can be used across multiple purchases until the value is depleted or the card expires. More than one gift card can also be used to pay for a single invoice.
4. Payment Completion: If the purchase amount exceeds the card balance, the customer may pay the remaining amount using the available payment methods (cash, credit card, etc.).
5. Services and Offers: The card can be used to purchase all products, including delivery and installation fees, and is valid during promotional and sale periods.
6. Exceptions: The gift card cannot be used with any external ABYAT partners.

Returns and Exchanges

1. The Card Itself: The gift card value cannot be refunded, nor can its balance be exchanged for cash under any circumstances.
2. Card Purchases: Purchases made using the card are subject to ABYAT's approved return and exchange policy.
3. Refund Method: The value of returned purchases will be refunded to the same original gift card, provided that the card is valid at the time of return.
4. Expired Card Case: If a product purchased with an expired gift card is returned, ABYAT (at its discretion) may issue a new purchase voucher or account credit valid for a limited period (e.g., 90 days).

Loss and Liability

1. Cardholder Responsibility: The cardholder is considered the owner of the card and is solely responsible for safeguarding it.
2. Loss and Damage: ABYAT does not replace gift cards if lost, stolen, or damaged in a way that makes the data unreadable or unscannable.
3. Unauthorized Use: ABYAT is not responsible for any unauthorized use of the card, and the card cannot be stopped or canceled once activated.

Usage and Inquiry Mechanism

1. In-Store: The card (physical or electronic) must be presented at the payment point before completing the transaction.
2. Online/App: The card number and verification code (PIN), if available, must be entered in the Gift Voucher field on the checkout page.
3. Balance Inquiry: Customers can check the remaining balance and expiry date by visiting the customer service desk in-store or through the official ABYAT website/application.

General Terms

1. This card is subject to ABYAT's general terms and conditions.
2. ABYAT reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, and any amendments shall be effective once published on the company's official platforms.
